Born and spent the first 25 years of my life in Croxley Green a small village near Watford. In the 70's used to attend a large number of home games and a few away games. Used to walk to the ground road on match days. My claim to fame was in the early 70's used to deliver newspapers to Keith Eddy. Attendance dropped as women appeared in my life. Spent the early part of my career at Rolls-Royce in Leavesden, after many years there I left and joined a powertool company first in London then Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Following a divorce I changed job and spent a lot of time on the road. Then 1992 I was given the opportunityto go to the USA for one year, seven years, one wife and two children I am still here! I now work for a medical device company and still travel 30% of the time the majority of it back to Europe. These trips enable be to stock up with the things I miss e.g. Marmite, Cadburys' chocolate, good tea, etc. |
