Time Tweddell Born Hull Yorkshire 1942. Age 57. Started to support the Horns in the 1977/78 season. First game I remember, but not the first I saw, was versus Hartlepool, when we won 1-0 with a late goal by Ian Bolton. I was impressed by their striker Malcolm Poskett, who GT signed a couple of seasons later. Started in the old Rookery and then season tickets in the (old) Main Stand, the year we went into the "Premiership". Sponsored Jan Lohman and went to the sponsors dinners, rubbing shoulders with the players, GT and (Sir) EJ. Highlight followed highlight - promotions, 7-1, 8-0, away at Kaiserslauten, Wembley. Then it all went pear-shaped, which fortunately was about the time I elected to move to the USA. Great to get on the Internet two years ago and stumble across the WML, various web-sites and become a founder member of the NEWFC COME ON YOU HORNS!!
